The simplest way of creating a site that uses Joomla is with
uncategorized content. It’s much easier to understand how a CMS site is driven,
so it is a good place to start. The uncategorized method is not much use once you
have more than a dozen pages, however, because the content gets too difficult
to manage. A single uncategorized content item in the database will correspond
to a single page of content on your website- nice and easy.
For this example, we have created a new Simplweb site and deleted all the content - my site is completely blank. If you want to
follow along, You can either delete all the pre-configured content or make some new content alongside what was provided. If you decide to delete, you s tart by
deleting the articles (you have to delete them from the Article Trash as well),
then the Sections and Categories, and finally the menu items.
To view the rest of this tutorial, you must be a Simplweb subscriber. Please login or signup for a website.
