GoDaddy. Unlike many registrars, they provide all the needed features
for your to successfully point your domain to Simplweb
Your domain www.YOURDOMAIN.com is already setup for your SimplWeb site but not without the www when you put YOURDOMAIN.com in your browser. Here's the solution, create an A record that looks like this:
@ IN A 72.52.251.34
This A record directs requests to your root domain to the SimplWeb server where it resolves to your site.
Here's an example of how to do this if you use GoDaddy as your domain manager:
First, edit the A record where the HOST is @.
In the Host Name field be sure @ is entered. Then in the Points To Ip Address field enter the IP address 72.52.251.34. Be sure to click OK to save changes.
It may take a up to 24 hours for these changes to take effect. If you get stuck with your domain registrar, please post a request in the support forum and we will write a how to for you.
