Logging into the Backend of your Site
As we saw in the last lesson, you can edit content from the frontend. To do all other tasks, however, you need to log in to the special administrators panel, the backend of the site.
Task 1 – Browse to the backend of your site now and log in (1 minute)
To access the backend of your website, add the word administrator to the end of your site URL. For example:
http://YOURSITE.simplweb.com/administrator
This will take you to the backend of the site. Think of it as the workman’s entrance where all the work gets done. Your site visitors won't ever see this backend and can't navigate their way to it from the frontend.
Your backend login screen looks like this:

You must log in with the username and password you received in the "Welcome to Simplweb" email. They are same as the un/pw you use to log into the frontend.
To view the rest of this tutorial, you must be a Simplweb subscriber. Please login or signup for a website.
